What is the advantage of having a website for my practice? Every Acupuncture practice can benefit significantly from having a web site. Well over 80% of American households have internet access from their homes. That number is higher when including Internet access from work. Having a web site allows you to communicate extensive information about you and your acupuncture practice with prospective patients 24/7 at a very low cost. Equally important, a web site allows you to provide valuable resources and support for your existing patients. Do I have to have a computer or understand the Internet to have a website? Not at all. In the same way you do not have to understand or own a printing press to have a brochure, you do not have to be tech savvy to have a web site. It is however, useful to have a computer so you receive emails from interested patients. The only thing that you really need is to have a clear understanding about the message that you want to communicate about what you do. What if I don't have any photos for my site? How do web site updates work? Updates and customizations of web site templates are quoted at a rate of $75.00 per hour with a $25.00 minimum for all work orders. Modifications that increase the number of pages to a web site plan may require customers to upgrade to a higher yearly service plan.
